- Establish project controlling for development, industrialization and customer machine projects
- Monitor budgets, actual costs, commitments and cost-to-complete for individual machines and projects
- Analyze material, engineering, production, installation and service costs
- Track planned versus actual project margins and identify deviations at an early stage
- Develop reliable gross-margin forecasts for our machine projects
- Analyze engineering and production hours against project budgets
- Monitor inventory and work in progress together with Accounting and Operations
- Perform variance analyses and identify the operational drivers behind cost deviations
- Participate in regular project reviews with Project Management, Engineering, Production and Purchasing
- Support quotation calculations, pricing decisions and change-order evaluations
- Develop meaningful operational KPIs and dashboards

Your mission
As Project & Operations Controller, you will create financial transparency across our machine projects and operations. You will help us understand not only what our machines cost today, but also what they are expected to cost when completed.
Your profile
- University degree in Controlling, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable field
- Professional experience in controlling, preferably in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, custom machinery or another project-driven industrial environment
- Strong understanding of project costing and manufacturing economics
- Experience with product costing, inventory or work-in-progress controlling is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with large amounts of financial and operational data
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Ability to challenge assumptions constructively and work closely with technical teams
- Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working style
- Very good German and English skills
